Who do you know who may possibly suffer from anxiety? Consider family members, friends, colleagues at work or school or college, people you are involved with through activities such as music, theatre, sports, art, etc. Identify at least three people you know who may suffer from anxiety.
*
How do you sense this affects them in their life? How does it limit them and make their life difficult? How do you find being with them when they are anxious?
*
Now reflect on your own experience with anxiety. What do you feel most effectively supports you when you're anxious?
*
How do you want others to be with you?
*
How would you most want to be supported when you are feeling anxious?
*
Imagine if you can wave a wand and someone could be so loving, understanding, and supportive of you. What would they be doing? How would this make you feel?
*
What could you do to be most supportive of those around you who may be suffering from anxiety?
*
Identify the skills you need to develop to enable you to be the most supportive person you can be. And how are you going to develop these skills?
*
Enter your email address to have the answers sent to you.
