Lesson 16 – Learning and reflections
Learning and reflections
As with the previous lesson, answer the questions below. Then check your email is correct and click “send” to be sent your answers to keep for your own record. You can also save the form to continue later.
Learning and Reflections
Reflect on four different times in your life: when you were around five years old, just starting school; when you were at the end of primary school, around 12 years old; when you were at the end of high school or college, around about 17 or 18 years old,; and, now.
*
As you go back and tune-in to your younger self in each of these times, ask yourself some questions: 1. What was most important to you at this time?
*
Who are the people who are most important to you?
*
What were the objects that were most precious to you?
*
How does your body look at this time and how do you feel about it?
*
At each of these four times in your life, what did you primarily think brought you happiness?
*
Reflecting on Change
After you do this reflection, reflect on how much things change: the people who are most important to you; the objects that are most important to you; the values and beliefs you have that are different at each of the stages in your life; etc. See how your body looked at each of these stages in your life; in size, shape, how it felt, etc. Recognise that change is constant in your life. The wise recognise that in order to feel complete ease and freedom in the world of change, we need to be anchored deeply within in our calm, quiet centre - the field of non-change.
