Learning and reflections

Learning and reflections
Now write down any other qualities or strengths that you admire, which you have recognised you have expressed in your life. Again, do this in a kind, objective and loving way as if you're reflecting on this child you love.
*
Identify one or two experiences that you really didn't want when they took place in your life, however, in hindsight, you might see something came out of those experiences. Perhaps one door closed, another door opened. You may have been required to develop some strength or quality in overcoming a challenge and this has proven to be a great gift in your life.
*
Some examples of experiences we didn't want at the time but may be very different now are the end of a relationship, a job finishing that we didn't want to finish, the loss of someone or something that has required us to be much more self-reliant or take initiative ourselves.
*
Recognise it's not what has happened or is now happening in our life that is the big problem; it's how we think about it, how we judge it. Every mature wise person through history comes to a point in their journey where they feel gratitude for everything that has ever happened to them because it's all been part of the fabric of the unique life that has helped them get to where they are now - a great lover of life.
